The MobileRAID MR2UT6G series is a newly design USB 3.1 Type-C, fully loaded 2-bay external RAID solution designed for home and small business storage needs. With simplicity and flexibility in mind, this series is equipped with two hot-swappable 3.5” hard drive trays, connecting to the computer using the latest USB 3.1 Type-C connection. USB 3.0 or older generation of USB connectivity is backward compatible. The embedded Hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing high performance throughput. Supporting PC, MAC, and Linux, MR2UT6G is versatile in various, cross-platform environment. Since RAID engine is embedded inside the enclosure, there is no OS compatibility issue. With the support of RAID 0 and RAID 1, MR2UT6G allows user to choose for fast performance on RAID 0 or hard drive redundancy protection on RAID 1. Additional mode supports for JBOD (individual drives access) or Spanning (combine both drives into a volume). MR2UT6G is the ideal storage RAID tower for high-end computing.​
