The EliteNAS EN448W12DS NAS / iSCSI Unified Storage is a comprehensive feature-rich 4U 48-bay (Top Load) NAS rackmount with Intel Xeon Quad-Core E3 processor and 32GB ECC memory. The high density design allow front and back design in a 4U enclosure, allowing total 48 drives within 4U enclosure. Based on Microsoft Storage Server 2019, the EN448W12DS is a performance tuned NAS server with iSCSI initiator and target support, unified file-level based and block-level based access in the storage. Advance storage technologies such as file de-duplication (SIS, Single-Instance Storage), replication (DFSR, Distributed File System Replication) and snapshot (VSS, Volume Shadow Copy Service) are provided without additional cost. Built-in hardware RAID 5 and 6 protections, with up to 768TB of total storage capacity and 10Gb and Gigabit Ethernet, ensures optimal performance in your storage environment. Built-in hot-swappable redundant power supplies, along with the RAID 1 for OS hard drives, ensure minimum downtime. With industry first built-in Mini-SAS HD 12G SAS expansion port, the EN448W12DS allows expansion of up to 7 more addition EliteSTOR SAS Expander JBOD storage units, or a total of 256 hard disk drives in a network sharing or iSCSI environment.

Installation wizard for easy implementation, convenience Windows based management for local or remote configuration, dual SFP+ and dual 10/100/1000 network support for teaming or redundant networking, and hardware RAID support for your data storage make the EliteNAS a simple trouble free unit. Dedicated dual core hardware RAID processor RAID engines support online migration and expansion while offloading complex RAID calculations to improve overall performance.
SAS Expander support for storage expansion
Build-in SAS expander expansion port allows it to connect additional SAS expander JBODs (EliteSTOR ES208X12, ES212X12, ES316X12, ES424X12, ES444X12), or up to 256 total drives.

EliteNAS EN448W12DS with Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2019 provides file and block level storage services built-in on Windows Server 2019. File based access fully support Active Directory in CIFS and NFS. Block level storage supported by providing both iSCSI initialor and target. WSS2019 is optimized for performance in file serving role, as well as standard Single Instant Storage (SIS) for de-duplication, Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) for snapshot and Distributed File System Replication (DFS-R) for file replication.
iSCSI for Hyper-V Host and Guest
With Hyper-V, the Microsoft hypervisor-based server virtualization technology enables customers to make the best use of the server hardware investments by running multiple/different operating systems—Windows, Linux, and others simultaneously using only a single server to fully leverage the true power of latest computer processor technology. WSS2019's build-in iSCSI support enable Hyper-V guest to expand the storage via iSCSI. It also supports shared iSCSI storage with SCSI-3 persistent target.
Additional Storage Expansion-No Storage Expansion Gateway License Needed
In order to maximize the return on investment, the EN448W12 allows additional direct attached or storage area network storage connected to EN448W12 as NAS or iSCSI without additional storage expansion gateway costs.
10Gb Network Interface Controller Option for 10GbE Network Support
10Gb Ethernet network Interface controller card is supported for 10Gb Networking. With 10 times faster bandwidth compared to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet, the 10Gb network interface controller provides high performance solutions when needed. 10GBASE-T, XFP, SFP+ and CX4 connectors are available.
Environmental friendly 80 Plus Bronze level (88%) Redundant Power Supply
To provide the most environmental friendly possible, yet protect from power supply failure, for using in data center environment, EliteNAS 12G series are equipped with 80 Plus Bronze level (88%) redundant power supply.
Design for Data Center - Remote Monitoring / IPMI for Advance User
Build-in with IPMI feature, advance user can now connect to the EliteNAS storage as if they are in front of the unit. IPMI provide next level of service, special deploy for datacenter or remote disaster recovery site.
