The EliteNAS EN208W12DT NAS / iSCSI Unified Storage series is a comprehensive feature-dense 2U 8-bay NAS rackmount with Intel Dual Core Processor and 8GB ECC memory. Based on Microsoft Storage Server 2012 R2, the EN208W12DT is a performance tuned NAS server with iSCSI initiator and target support. It provides a unified file-level based and block-level based access in one single storage. Advance storage technology such as file de-duplication (SIS, Single-Instance Storage), replication (DFSR, Distributed File System Replication) and snapshot (VSS, Volume Shadow Copy Service) are provided without additional cost. The EliteNAS EN208W12DT also designed with built-in hardware RAID 5 and 6 protections with up to 80TB of storage capacity and dual Gigabit Ethernet ensuring optimal performance in your storage environment. Built-in hot-swappable redundant power supply along with the RAID 1 for OS hard drives are designed to minimize system down time. Optional expansion upgrade allows expansion for up to 7 more additional EliteSTOR SAS Expander JBOD storages or a total of 122 drives in a network sharing or iSCSI environment.

EliteNAS is built with simple setup and maintenance features. Installation wizard for easy implementation, convenience web-based management for local or remote configuration, Dual 10GBaseT 10/100/1000/10000 network support for teaming or redundant networking, and hardware RAID support for your data storage make the EliteNAS a simple trouble free unit. Dedicated dual core hardware RAID processor RAID engines support online migration and expansion while offloading complex RAID calculations to improve overall performance.
SAS Expander support for storage expansion
Build-in SAS expander expansion port allows it to connect additional SAS expander JBODs (EliteSTOR ES208X12, ES212X12, ES316X12, ES424X12, ES632X12), or up to 120 total drives.
Support 12G SAS or 6G SATA hard drives
Support to both high performance 12G SAS hard drives or high capacity, low cost 6G SATA hard drives.
Hardware RAID support up to 60
Supports latest RAID levels, including RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 for advanced data protection in large numbers of hard drive deployments.

EliteNAS EN208W12DT with Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2012 R2(WSS2012R2) provides file and block level storage services built-in on Windows Server 2012 R2. File based access fully support Active Directory in CIFS and NFS. Block level storage supported by providing both iSCSI initialor and target. WSS2012R2 is optimized for performance in file serving role, as well as standard Single Instant Storage (SIS) for de-duplication, Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) for snapshot and Distributed File System Replication (DFS-R) for file replication.
iSCSI for Hyper-V Host and Guest
With Hyper-V, the Microsoft hypervisor-based server virtualization technology enables customers to make the best use of the server hardware investments by running multiple/different operating systems—Windows, Linux, and others simultaneously using only a single server to fully leverage the true power of latest computer processor technology. WSS2012R2's build-in iSCSI support enable Hyper-V guest to expand the storage via iSCSI. It also supports shared iSCSI storage with SCSI-3 persistent target.
Additional Storage Expansion-No Storage Expansion Gateway License Needed
In order to maximize the return on investment, the EN208W12DT allows additional direct attached or storage area network storage connected to EN208W12DT as NAS or iSCSI without additional storage expansion gateway costs.
Environmental friendly 80 Plus Platinum level (94%) Redundant Power Supply
To provide the most environmental friendly possible, yet protect from power supply failure, for using in data center environment, EliteNAS 12G series are equipped with 80 Plus Platinum level (94%) redundant power supply.
Design for Data Center - Remote Monitoring / IPMI for Advance User
Build-in with IPMI feature, advance user can now connect to the EliteNAS storage as if they are in front of the unit. IPMI provide next level of service, special deploy for datacenter or remote disaster recovery site.
