the TowerSTOR TS2UT is a trayless 2-bay storage tower with RAID capabilities. TS2UT's innovative tray-less feature is specifically designed for fast installation and access of the hard drives, where each hard drive could be easily installed or removed by opening the front plate handle. A turn-lock located at the front of each front plate handle allows the securing of hard drives without the use of screws or other tools. In addition to easy hard drive access, the TS2UT features four different RAID modes, including FAST (RAID 0), SAFE (RAID 1), JBOD (individual drive access), and BIG (spanning). The RAID modes are selectable via an easy access RAID switch located on the front panel. Easily recognizable LEDs advise the user of the interface in use, the current RAID mode, and status of the hard drives.
