The EliteSTOR ES104TI Series is a 1U 4 bay rack-mountable solution that supports both SATA (Serial ATA) and SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) interfaces. This system includes four hot-swappable 3.5” hard drive trays for Hard Drive drives, and supports SAS 3.0-Gb/s or SATA 3.0-Gb/s, with up to 3TB per hard drive. Designed to provide top performance, each individual hard drive is connected to your computer using a four dedicated eSATA channel for SATA devices, and Infiniband / Multilane / SAS 4x / SFF-8470) for SAS devices. With this dedicated quad channel design, the ES104TI can also used with RAID Host Bus Adapter (HBA) to provide an external RAID rackmount storage. ES104TI is the ideal storage solution for applications requiring high data throughput, availability, and flexibility in configuration.
Note: Sans Digital recommends the use of enterprise hard drives when in use with any RAID controller applications. Standard desktop or green desktop drive may not be supported and may compromise RAID system stability and performance.
