Overview


The EliteRAID ER104CT is a hardware RAID embedded enclosure that provides high performance storage for creative professional with over 200MB/s in performance. Its embedded hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing fast read and write speed. Since RAID engine is embedded inside the enclosure, there are no OS compatibility issues. Popular USB 2.0 and Firewire 400 provide easy connection to various computer operating systems. Featuring RAID 0, 1, 10, 3 and 5, the ER104CT provides redundancy as well as data protection against hard drive failure. The frontal LED and drive LCDs provide status of the RAID unit. Four hot-swappable hard drive trays allow easy trouble shooting and hard drive replacement. With a stylish aluminum design in a 1U 4-bay form factor, and high performance transfer rates supporting various audio and video editing programs, the ER104CT is the ideal storage rackmount for high-end computing.

Note: Sans Digital recommends the use of enterprise hard drives when in use with any RAID controller applications. Standard desktop or green desktop drive may not be supported and may compromise RAID system stability and performance.
